The Crone

Learn the lesson first time, if the universe needs to repeat it, it’s going to hurt.

After an intense, but revealing full moon, and taking some time to rest, I finally got back out with Link.

Over the last few weeks, even months I’ve been creating my space, my sanctuary away from the speed of the world, away from the speed of expectations.

The universe is going too fast, society has done this to us, we weren’t supposed to live this way, and stepping into my power of Crone I am vastly aware of this.

And while I step into Crone the lessons so far are very definite, and one lesson for sure is to understand that while I accept the experience and knowledge I have to teach and pass on, I to must continue to learn.

Today I stepped out into a peaceful walk, true peace, there wasn’t a silence, that would have been too loud, no the sound was comforting, it wrapped around me, holding me in the moment, although it was a cool day, the peace felt like a warm embrace.

The wind breezed past my ears, not whistling with direction, but flowing past like a musical instrument, playing a song to lift your soul, a melody. The crows in the distance didn’t caw a warning but their soften tones lay “lyrics” as a harmony to the wind’s melody.

As we walked, our pace was slow, each step was soften with the ground underneath giving way to the step, even that was soft. Link sniffed around and the as we played ball, it was joyous, relaxed, the world did not matter, here in this peace, it could wait, there wasn’t any hurry, there was time, everything would happen, in time.

The universe was unfolding exactly as it should. Believe. My soul was singing, my mind content, I was in the moment, I was how nature had intended, this was peace, from here I would be unstoppable on my journey.

I smiled, the hard work, the time all what I’d been aiming for, all was coming together. I was truly stepping into Crone, my purpose, a step nearer.

I arrived home, with peace all around me, and then, well then I decided that with a push I could really make such an impact on all that was left to do in my house to get to that final stage, that peace, I spent the rest of the day tirelessly moving boxes sorting the furniture, getting everything in a place, I didn’t stop, didn’t come up for breath, I would have my sanctuary finished by the end of the day, I was a woman on a mission, nothing was going to stop me. Or so I thought. Now, the universe, when you are walking the path of learning, of stepping into your power, when you open yourself up, doesn’t have much time when you “forget” to live the lesson you have just learnt.

The lesson to “sit” to take time, to find and live the peace, although I saw it, I felt it, I did not live it The universe was not forgiving, by the time the evening came I was forced to sit as my foot was in agony, I couldn’t even weight bear, the pain struck through me, a pain I’d not felt for years, I was forced to slow down to the point of stopping. There was no missing this lesson.

If I wasn’t going to learn from nature, from the lessons shown then I would be shown the hard way.

And that’s exactly what I’m having to do.

So now I sit, i physically cannot go at speed, every step i have to take with purpose, I have to note the exact way I place my foot or the pain rips through my body sending a sharp reminder of a lesson ignored, how long will this last? That is down to how fast I learn, and when the universe decides that I have indeed learnt my lesson. This lesson, I know I won’t forget in a hurry.
